The grommets are spaced at 2-foot intervals around the tarp's perimeter with the corner grommets positioned closer together for more stable tying. Ultrasonic welds reinforce the grommets, and at the corners, the grommets are also capped, adding extra strengthening. Fold the tarp away when not in use, and never worry about the tarp becoming weak or tearing at the folds.
